A subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

This year I had to specialise and take some elective branches. It was a year in which I studied what really interested me, but the best branch I had was "Racionalidad neoliberal", where the teacher demostrated to have a true vocation and passion for teaching.

This subject, in addition to showing a vision of broad, inclusive and historical public policies, helped me develop a critical position on current issues.

His teaching methodology was with conversations where we could all have an opinion on a topic and served us to meet as classmates, whitch has been very difficult because of the pandemic.

One of the best practises of the course was not to have too much academic burden, we had to create groups of 5 people where I agree to be with friends, we had a great time doing the work.

The main qualification was a report in whitch the teacher was evaluation us according to our progress.

Perhaps his compressiv & friendly metodology was due to the fact that he was not an architect from his point of view mainly from sociology he went along more in depth with his students making the asignature more easy going.

Really, if you read this and study architecture, I recommend taking bouquets with professor Jorge Larenas. He's very friendly, understanding, and an excellent teacher.

A photograph and it's story

This picture was taken last week, with my brother were watching things to about on the net and suddenly appeared an announcement that we couldn't ignore, it was a super cool glasses for pets. They were perfect for our pet "poppy". We bought them and they arrived days ago and when we put her the glasses for the first time she loved them unless she took them off minutes before it was enough to take her a photo that we are going to remember for the rest of our life, we love and take care of her because she is part of our family, she is so special for us despite of she just arrived months ago. She has totally get our heart and we hope having her with us for the rest of our life. Thank to poppy our family is more united and happy, she has helped us to go on with this difficult pandemic, and we'll always grateful for the inconditionally love she offers to us.

why did I choose my major?

I am currently studying architecture at the universidad de Chile. When I was a child I always liked to build houses for my dolls or other toys. Although I liked many other careers, I decided to study architecture, since it is a very entertaining profession where I can Express my creativity to help people improve their quality of life. I used to be interested in psychology, but I' am not passionate about reading so many books, instead I prefer to do crafts such as knitting, drawing, painting, among others, which has helped a lot in the development of my profession. My experience at the university has been very extreme, because I can go days without sleep, since designing is really difficult and requires a lot of dedication and effort, but in spite of everything I love what I'am currently doing. At the moment I'am specializing in public policies, since my intention is to improve the quality of social houses in order to help people to have access to decent house. My...

A meal or food you really like

When you ask me for my favorite food, my answer is fast, humitas are the best meal that could ever exist, is really sad that it could be cooked just between december and february, but my obsession makes me frozen it and I can eat them during the whole year. Humitas are made with corn, onion, sometimes with chili pepper. I honestly love corn and I think it is one of my favorite vegetables but I really prefer it as a humita. Is not a dangerous food, if we talk about nutritional facts, they are cooked but sometimes to reheat them I fry them and in some way it could be harmful for me but worth it, moreover, I don't know how to cook, but my mom does and she cook delicious and I really enjoy everything she does and finally humitas are a reason why I love summer.
